    Description

    The Anybus Communicator CAN makes it possible to connect devices with a CAN-port to all major fieldbus and industrial Ethernet networks. The Anybus Communicator CAN performs an intelligent conversion between a CAN-based protocol of an automation device and the chosen fieldbus/Ethernet network. The Communicator CAN is a compact gateway that consumes very little space in a switching cabinet and is easily mounted onto a standard DIN rail.

    The Anybus Communicator CAN is a series of products that acts as a gateway between a subnetwork – running the standard CAN protocol – and a number of popular industrial networks. Integration of industrial devices is enabled with no loss of functionality, control or reliability, both when retro-fitting to existing equipment, as well as when setting up new installations. The Anybus Communicator CAN is based on patented Anybus technology, a proven industrial communication solution used all over the world by leading manufacturers of industrial automation products.
